I was able to create the support login form with a simple copy and paste of code provided free from the site is all that was required to add the form shown above. It can be added to any page. I've recently added it to my new web site too. I didn't need any knowledge of HTML or special software tools for editing were required. I can use custom CSS to change colors and the look.
Alternatives that are also available from their site were standard html links of course or links that can be displayed with a nice image. Also, there's an exe that can be placed any where or pushed out through policies or other admin methods to LAN users too, like I have in my office network for my users who are in-house.


Will be adding a live chat link too for both product sale support and for technical support on my site. The chat is similar to well known brands like liveperson and live2support. Two great providers of chat software.

The free versions of support software sites don't give you this kind of stuff. They often make you build your own exe and if you don't know how, they charge you - every time you need a change, there's a change. ...Free is not always so ...free. if a site says "...It is Free", then it should be 100% free without the hidden costs and charges.

After looking at several of the known solutions for remote support, even from Microsoft's quiet solution for pc remote support using LiveMeeting, I encountered a problem - the price. There are full online solutions for remote support then there even those that sell appliances for web based desktop remote support but they also come with a high price tag. They claim that it's a solution that you own but you really never stop paying for it. In fact it cost more that other totally software based remote support products as there are support costs called "maintenance" and upgrades, well you pay for those too.

LiveMeeting is a pricey package but a great conferencing and collaboration tool. If conferences and online meetings are also required, the ROI can be calculated starting with the first travel trip that doesn't have to be booked.

Microsoft's LiveMeeting is a great application for online collaboration and conferencing. It has some fantastic features for conducting meetings online. Although it's a web based application, it does use Microsoft's window installer to add the application to the local host desktop.
The interface has all the features a presenter could need for online meetings and collaboration. The GUI is intuative and control of the session can be cetralized or as an option, pushed out to the remote desktop clients.
Another feature of Microsoft's LiveMeeting application is that it cane be used as computer remote support software to provide clients with online tech support through the web.
Although it's design was built upon the premiss of hosting conferences and meetings online, the nature of the software is that of application remote control. Under this umbrella falls the remote desktop itself and thus it too is allowed to be remote controlled by the presenter or in this case, tech support for remote support.
